About US

We are three high school students who happen to be musicians/artists as well! Kevin Gu, our founder, is a phenomenal competitive pianist who has played at Carnegie Hall. He is also an award winning writer and artist. Sreya Ravi is a violinist and violist, and a member of a string orchestra. She is also a digital artist, and learns ukulele and kalimba for fun! Simran Kaur is a violinist and writes poetry, which she has performed at several YAI concerts. She is learning guitar and loves to draw! Together, we have worked hard to bring our ideas of Youth Accord Initiative together. Something we have learned during our hours of work on this project, is that the little things and details count. Senior isolation may seem like a minor issue. However, like a domino effect, it can cause a chain of events that can lead to cognitive impairment and even death for some seniors. Change is important, and we hope with YAI we can make a true impact.
